Viewing and buying
Can I view and test drive before I buy?
Yes, always — and we'd encourage it. Viewings are by appointment so the car is ready, clean and cold-started for you. Bring your licence for a test drive; you're insured under our trade policy for the drive. You're also welcome to bring an independent inspector or a knowledgeable friend.
Can I reserve a car before I come and see it?
Yes. A £199 deposit takes the car off sale for seven days. It's fully refundable if you decide not to proceed for any reason, and it comes off the purchase price if you do.
Do you charge admin fees?
No. The advertised price is the price you pay. There are no admin fees, documentation fees, preparation fees or any other charges added at signing.
Do you deliver?
Yes, anywhere in mainland UK. Delivery is free within 50 miles of the showroom; beyond that we quote at cost before you commit. Your car is delivered fully valeted with all paperwork, and we'll collect your part exchange at the same time.
The cars themselves
Are your cars HPI checked?
Every single one, before it's listed. That covers outstanding finance, insurance write-off categories, theft markers, plate changes and mileage discrepancies. Ask and we'll show you the certificate for any car in stock.
What preparation do cars get before sale?
A documented multi-point mechanical inspection and road test, service history verified against invoices, any faults rectified, a fresh MOT if fewer than six months remain, and a full valet. Roughly one car in four that we look at fails this process and goes back.
Is the car ULEZ compliant?
Every listing shows a ULEZ badge, and we verify compliance by registration rather than assuming from the year. If you drive into a specific city's clean air zone, tell us and we'll confirm the exact position for that scheme before you commit.
Do you sell cars with previous accident damage?
Occasionally, when a repair has been done properly and the car represents genuine value — but never without telling you. Any Cat S or Cat N history is disclosed in the advert, on the phone and in writing, along with the price adjustment that reflects it.
Money, warranty and rights
Can you arrange finance?
We can introduce you to a panel of UK lenders and talk you through the quotes side by side without pressure. The calculator on every car page is an illustrative representative example only, not a quotation or an offer — actual rates depend on your circumstances and finance is subject to status.
What warranty comes with the car?
Every car includes a minimum three-month comprehensive warranty, and many still carry the balance of a manufacturer warranty. Extended cover is available. Importantly, a warranty sits on top of your legal rights — it never replaces them.
What are my rights if something goes wrong?
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a car must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a genuine fault appears in the first 30 days you can reject the car for a full refund. Between 30 days and six months we get one opportunity to repair it, and the law assumes the fault was present at sale unless we can prove otherwise. Our guide on your legal rights covers this in full.
How does part exchange work?
Send us your registration and mileage and we'll come back with an honest, haggle-free valuation, usually within a few working hours. If there's outstanding finance we settle it directly with your lender and put any equity towards your next car. As long as the car matches your description when we see it, the figure stands.
Our car finding service
What if you don't have the car I want?
Then we'll go and find it — free of charge and with no obligation. Tell Luvo the Genie or use the Find My Car form what you're after, and our buyers will search trade-only sources most buyers never see. Most requests produce strong candidates within two to five working days.
Does the car finding service cost anything?
No. There's no up-front cost and no finder's fee. We make our margin the same way we do on forecourt stock — by buying well. You only pay the agreed price of the car, and only if you choose to buy it.
Still got a question?
